TISQA Awards Questcon Technologies with Presentation of the Year Honors

Software quality assurance association recognizes industry leader Questcon
at annual dinner

Stamford, Conn. and Greensboro, N.C., Jan. 23, 2006 - Questcon Technologies, a premier provider of innovative software Quality Assurance (QA) and process improvement solutions and a division of Howard Systems International, Inc. (HSI), today announced Triangle Information Systems Quality Association (TISQA) awarded the company with Presentation of the Year at the organization's annual dinner meeting on January 19. Director of Quality Solutions for Questcon, Shaun Bradshaw, was recognized from a competitive presenter pool of noted software development experts for his presentation 'Test Metrics: A Practical Approach to Tracking and Interpretation' delivered in May 2005 at a TISQA general meeting.     

More than 200 members strong, TISQA is dedicated to the development of quality software and has been a fixture in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina for more than 13 years. The impact of software errors is a growing concern as virtually every business depends on software for the development, production, distribution and after-sales support of products and services. In pursuit of software quality, TISQA hosts meetings, seminars and promotes software quality education among its members and the Triangle business and technology community.

"Shaun is a dynamic speaker and recognized expert on the topic of test metrics and his presentation stood out among an impressive pool of 2005 presenters," said Bob Galen, board member for TISQA. In addition to presenting Bradshaw and Questcon with the top honors for the year, TISQA also used the annual dinner as a time to thank its members and board for a successful 2005. A federation chapter of QAI, TISQA has a busy year ahead and will round out 2006 with its annual conference slated for October 5, an event featuring keynote presentations, multiple track sessions and a vendor expo.
