Questcon Technologies to Address Test Metrics at Software Test & Performance Conference

Session on tracking and managing a test effort using test metrics fills to capacity and requires increased venue size to accommodate interest;
High demand results in separately scheduled Web presentation


WHAT:

Questcon Technologies, a leading provider of software quality assurance (QA) and process improvement solutions and a division of Howard Systems International, Inc. (HSI), will present two separate presentations focused on test metrics at the 2006 Software Test & Performance Conference. QA departments often find it difficult to demonstrate to management the impact improved software quality bears across an organization. When tracked and used properly, test metrics provide tangible evidence to demonstrate gains in financial and business performance achieved through improved software quality.

 Shaun Bradshaw, director of quality solutions for Questcon Technologies and a recognized expert on test metrics, will explain how to create, test and track two test metrics, the S-Curve and Zero Bug Bounce, in "S-Curves and the Zero Bug Bounce:  Plotting Your Way to More Effective Test Management."  In a separate presentation titled, "Effective Metrics for Managing a Test Effort," Bradshaw will introduce a set of well-defined test metrics related to tracking and managing a testing effort and how to consistently apply these metrics to software projects.

 Questcon will also be exhibiting during the conference exposition on Nov. 8-9, 2006 at booth #104. Executives will be available to discuss Questcon's QA and process improvement solutions and how the company has helped customers maximize their return on investment for software development efforts.
