Chris Laney - Senior Vice President of Strategic Solutions

As Senior Vice President of Strategic Solutions at Questcon Technologies, Chris Laney supervises the development of customized solutions, working with the Questcon sales force and delivery teams to ensure all projects are delivered with the highest level of client value.  Chris joined Questcon in 1996. 

Prior to joining Questcon, Chris worked as a consultant for Keane. Chris is a graduate of East Carolina University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Computer Information Systems. Chris is a pilot as well as a veteran of the United States Navy. He is the recipient of numerous awards for his outstanding service, including recognition by The Business Journal for its "40 Leaders under 40" award


 

Shaun Bradshaw - Director of Quality Solutions

As Director of Quality Solutions at Questcon Technologies, Shaun Bradshaw is responsible for managing Questcon's team of Senior Practice Managers in the areas of quality solutions development and service delivery.  In this role he works with a variety of clients to improve their Quality Assurance and software test processes.  He is the co-author and editor of Questcon's QuestAssured®  suite of methodologies including the Test Methodology, Test Management Methodology, and Test Metrics Methodology. Shaun is a popular speaker at key industry events, including: Software Test & Performance conferences, STQE's StarEast conference, QAI's International IT Quality & Software Testing Conference. Shaun is at the forefront of thought-leadership and has written several recent articles featured in STP Magazine.

Prior to joining Questcon Technologies, Shaun was Project Manager and Business Analyst for Vanguard Cellular Systems (now AT&T Wireless).  Shaun is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Computer Science.


 

David Dang - Director of Automation Practices

As a Director of Automation Practices, David works with clients to assess, define, and implement automation testing strategies specifically designed to reduce development and maintenance time. David is an automation expert with considerable experience working with numerous automation tools, including QuickTest Professional, WinRunner, Functional Tester, TestPartner, and SilkTest. David is also a Mercury Interactive Certified Product Consultant (CPC) and Certified Instructor (CI). David teaches classes at the Questcon branch and throughout the United States. David has written several recent articles and case studies on test automation and is featured speaker at key industry events and conferences.

David joined Questcon Technologies in 1998. He received his B.S. in Management Information System and B.A. in Psychology from the University of Buffalo.


Jim Gates - Senior Practice Manager - IV&V

 As senior practice manager at Questcon, Jim Gates plays a central role in assessing, recommending and implementing solutions to improve client software development processes.  He leverages his diverse background in software and systems development to provide clients with pragmatic improvement recommendations and solutions implementation, including Questcon's IV&V service offering.

Jim joined Questcon in 2005.  Prior to Questcon, Jim worked extensively in the medical device, financial, banking, transportation and telecommunications industries.  He has over 25 years of experience in process engineering, application and systems software development and management, project management and software configuration management.  He has also authored a patent for a methodology apparatus for meting fluids and holds a degree in Electronics.
