• Develop/execute automation test scripts.
• Create function and procedure routines.
• Perform test data analysis including finding, modifying, and creating test data.
• Review system/business requirements and technical specifications for adherence to standards.
• Review test results for compliance to specifications and report discrepancies to management.
• Work with developers to resolve defects.
• Perform client interviews on technical, procedural, and business topics.
• Work closely with the internal sales force to provide assistance in responding to RFPs, client discovery sessions, and sales presentations regarding test automation.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement automation testing tools and methodologies.

Education:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

Specific Skills:

• Minimum two years experience working with automated testing tools
• Minimum three years experience in manual testing
• Minimum one year experience working with development tools
• Knowledge of test methodologies
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Must be willing to travel
• Expert in the strategic and tactical execution of automation testing processes utilizing various tools, chiefly WinRunner and QuickTest Professional from Mercury Interactive
• Ability to consider problems from various points of view
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills
• Certified Consultant (CC Designation) a plus.
